When you buy a hot tub from Grizzly Bear Hot Tubs you can be assured of a professional installation by our inhouse installation team. All of our technicians are factory trained in all aspects of the installation and maintenance of our hot tubs.

We deliver our hot tubs using a SpaDolly. A SpaDolly is an American system designed specifically for the installaion and moving of hot tubs. Below are some images of how a SpaDolly works.

Please note: The hot tub shown in the pictures has not been supplied by Grizzly Bear Hot Tubs. The main point to note is the base of the tub in the picture, as you can see moisture will just penetrate up in to the spa causing rot and heat loss. All of our spas have a 1 piece ABS plastic base meaning the spa can sit in thedampest corner of your garden without any problems.

FIRST THE SPA DOLLY IS UN HITCHED

THE SPA DOLLY IS TIPPED UP AND THE HOT TUB IS THEN ON THE SPA KART READY TO BE WHEELED IN TO POSITION USING FRONT AND REAR STEERING

ONCE THE HOT TUB IS WHEELED IN TO POSITION THE SPA IS TIPPED ON TO THE SPA WEDGE AIRBAG.

THE WEDGE IS THEN DEFLATED ALLOWING THE SPA TO BE LOWERED SMOOTHLY AND SAFELY ON TO THE BASE PROVIDED FOR THE HOT TUB

Delivery Requirements for our hot tubs-

We need a clear run of 1 metre wide from the roadside to the final position of your hot tub. Please take in to account gate posts, steps, over hanging fascias, trees etc.

Your hot tub will need a flat, firm and level base. Slabs, concrete and decking are fine as long as the base is flat. Due to the weight of water in the spa if your base has a twist in it it can put stress on the shell of the spa.

We need a minimum of 18" clearance all around the spa. If you planning on having decking around the spa please ensure the 18" of decking around the spa is completely removable. This will allow our technicians to gain access to the spa if required.

Electrics:

Your spa will require a suitable power supply with RCD protection.

Edge8, Fusion F1, F2, F3 & F4 models require a 32amp supply

Fusion Rx & G2 models require a 13 amp supply and come with a RCD plug already fitted to the spa meaning you can just plug it in to a suitable outdoor socket.

For 32amp power supplies please leave an additional 5 metres of cable from where the hot tub will be positioned, this allows for the perfect siting of the tub. Due to building regulations we will require your electrican to be on site for 10 minutes on the day of installation to connect the cable to the spa. We do everything else and your spa will be up and running when we leave your home.

As not everyone has a clear run of 1 metre we often have to use lorry mounted crane's to lift hot tubs over walls or high fences. If you think your access may be a problem please feel free to contact us and we will work out the easiest way to get your hot tub in to place.
